This integration gives POWR holders dual-chain flexibility, unlocking the best of both Ethereum and Solana. In this blog, we will explore a step-by-step process for multichain POWR token transfers. 

• Step 1: Visit the Official Portal Bridge
  • Go to https://portalbridge.com 
  • Always verify the URL to avoid phishing scams.

     

• Step 2: Connect your Ethereum Wallet
  • Click “Connect Wallet” and choose MetaMask.
  • Approve the connection in MetaMask.

     

• Step 3: Select the source Token & Network
  • Network: Ethereum
  • Token: 0x595832f8fc6bf59c85c527fec3740a1b7a361269

     

• Step 4: Select destination Token & Network and connect Solana wallet
  • Network: Solana
  • Token: PowerhfyX6JqFprXzy89fPBSKqmLj8Yzcvr3FkHrQHR

     

• Step 5: Enter amount to bridge, and initiate the transaction
  • Enter amount of tokens and click “Review Transaction” and “Confirm Transaction” if all the details are correct.
  • Confirm the transaction in the Metamask pop up window to start the bridging process. This will require a small amount of ETH for transaction fees.
  • You will need to confirm one additional metamask transaction to complete the deposit of POWR on Ethereum.

     

• Step 6: Wait for the confirmation and Receive  Tokens on Solana
  • Once the deposit to be confirmed by the Wormhole network, the POWR will be deposited into your Solana wallet address.

  • Check transaction status on https://wormholescan.io 
  • Add the token manually in your Solana wallet if it doesn’t appear.
  • Use a small test transaction first to avoid errors.
