CVA Sustainability Working Group recently hosted an engaging and insightful session titled “Empowering the Grid: Blockchain Innovations in Decentralised Energy.” In this session, our Blockchain Ecosystem Specialist, Jakob Stammler, delves deep into the transformative role of blockchain in the energy transition.
This session further explores how Powerledger’s pioneering peer-to-peer energy trading opened up new possibilities in decentralised energy markets, creating a win-win situation for all participants. Jakob also discusses Powerledger’s strategic applications in smart grid management and the utilisation of Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) to support 24/7 carbon-free energy as well as Powerledger’s plans for an innovative ecosystem that utilises blockchain, AI, and other emerging technologies to reshape energy systems.
